Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers
Hyaluronic acid (HA) based filler helps smooth lines and restore volume loss, creating a more youthful appearance. Dermal fillers are composed of various formulations for different areas of the face and body. They are used to address common concerns such as thin lips, under-eye hollows, deep smile lines, lifting of cheekbones, rejuvenation of the hands, and much more.
Fillers are injectable gels that are used to restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. They are a popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment that can rejuvenate the face, giving it a more youthful appearance.

How Do Dermal Fillers Work?
Dermal filler is a soft, gel-like substance made of hyaluronic acid (HA). Filler injections are used to improve volume while deeply hydrating tissues. The results of dermal filler injections are semi-permanent, lasting approximately six to twelve months. The body will naturally metabolize the filler over time.
Dermal fillers are commonly used to:
• Smooth marionette lines, smile lines, and parentheses around the mouth.
• Restore lost volume.
• Plump and create symmetry in the lips.
• Smooth chin dimples and creases.
• Improve balance in facial features.
• Define the chin and jawline.
• Raise scar depressions.
Will The Injections Be Painful?
Your injector will apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before injection. Filler injections feel comparable to a pinch and can cause some discomfort. The pain dissipates quickly, but you can expect considerable swelling, bruising, and tenderness at the injection site.
When Will I Notice The Results Of My Dermal Filler Injections?
You will notice the results immediately. Ask for a handheld mirror to watch your injector administer the filler under the skin! Swelling will appear within minutes and may last for up to two weeks. After two weeks, the results of your filler injections will settle into place. Maintenance injections are needed every six to twelve months to maintain your look.
